I’m Craig Douglas Miller, an Executive Creative Director and Copywriter with an enviable track record of stirring things up at top-tier agencies like BBDO, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, and many more. My portfolio spans a wide range of industries—from technology to fast food to travel/hospitality to finance to retail to political advocacy to whatever else you got. But whatever I’m working on, I bring a true passion for creating bold, unorthodox work that delivers incredible business results for my clients.
Speaking of results, my work has driven some huge moves of the needle, as evidenced by the Domino’s “Pizza Turnaround,” which saw a stock increase of 8900% over a decade, Budweiser's “Harry Caray's Last Call,” which garnered 34 million views and 325 million impressions, my work for CFP Group, which drive a 42% increase in graduates sitting for the CFP certification exam, and my work Street Grace, which led to a 52% increase in donations, and reported 6,000 would-be sex predators.
Today, as the digital landscape evolves, I’ve become fascinated and invigorated by the arrival of AI, and the immense potential it brings to creative marketing, I’ve earned several certifications already in Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, Creativity & AI, and more. I’m calling myself an “enthusiast” rather than an expert at this point. But ask me again this August, after I finish my post-grad program in “Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence: Business Solutions” from The University of Texas’ McCombs Business School.
Outside of agency life, I’ve pursued many other creative avenues in which I’ve acquired what Liam Neeson might call “a very particular set of skills,” which have all proven invaluable in my advertising career. My eight years performing and producing standup comedy has turned me into a charismatic and unflappable presenter. My newfound passion for screenwriting has taught me to imbue all my work with a sense of story and narrative arc that’s all too rare in today’s creative landscape. And my work as a musician, producer and promoter for my alternative rock project Blueburst keeps me continually exploring the worlds of both audio production and social media.
Outside of that, I love playing a little golf now and then. But mostly I love just spending time with my lovely wife Holly and our two beloved hound dogs, Snuffy and Gus, who I’ll be more than happy to send you pictures of.
