TALENT CULTIVATOR

Mentorship is extremely important in anything you do, and extremely hard to come by in today’s insanity. I think it’s the responsibility of every creative director to teach and mentor their young talent, and give them a chance to grow. For me it’s uber-gratifying when a young creative tells me they’ve learned something from me, and even more gratifying when they go on to succeed in the biz.

Here’s a few folks that I’ve worked with, taught at Creative Circus, or given random advice to…

"Craig is the man! I learned a ton from him about tone and voice. He helped push me to write beyond what comes natural, and to really think about the personality I'm writing to. Which was pretty helpful considering for the past year I (a 20-something girl from Georgia) have had to write from the POV of a 30-something Boston scumbag who lives in his mom's basement."

“Craig has a calm way of taking you under his wing and walking you through how to improve the work and how to keep things their simplest and most impactful. When we worked on our CFP campaign together, I remember how Craig would ask a lot of "what if" questions, which helped us arrive at some rather interesting solutions that no other brand in that category had ever done. It was a great experience.”
